Department Overview The Leisure Product Department (LPD) is handling a lineup of lifestyle and leisure related services, some of them being category leaders in the Japanese market. We aim at growing globally and becoming world leaders through innovation and technology. In order to achieve this, we are now looking for globally minded engineers to contribute to the development of our services. We are hiring for the below service: Rakute Car : Automotive-related services Position: Why We Hire Rakuten Car is a new brand that covers the wide range of automotive-related services provided by Rakuten Group designed to meet the needs of car owners, including the purchase and sale of cars, car washing, and vehicle inspection. We provide these services in Tokyo office and Osaka office. These services are related to cars, which is one of the BtoC services in the Rakuten Ecosystem. Since each team is not so big and looks like a start-up, we need talented team members who are passionate and eager to learn new things for this opportunity. As we always think about customer satisfaction, we appreciate engineers who can talk with business units and make informed decisions on good specifications. We’re growing rapidly and we implement new features every day. In order to have a stable service, we’re required to have a high level of engineering skill with the ability to handle frontend, backend, and infrastructure. Position Details ・ Planning, coding and operations with iOS app ・ UI/UX improvement ・ App quality improvement ・ Adjustments on iOS version ups ・ Planning and development on New Apps
Required skills & Experience
Basic qualifications
・At least five year experience on iOS app development experience ・Basic understanding about iOS HIG ・Knowledge about Swift ・Knowledge about Mobile App architecture(ex. MVVM, clean architecture) ・Experience of Unit test ・Team development experience using github ・Who has a mindset of ""User centric"" with product development
Preferred qualifications
・Japanese level: Business level highly preferred. ・Experience of Tech Lead or Dev team lead ・Strong communication, time management and task management skills ・Experience using the Agile methodology ・Experience of CI/CD development ・Who has interests on latest technologies
Tech stack
We have non-Japanese employees from more than 10 countries and you can work in cross-cultural environment. About 5 to 10 members are in charge of each service.
