As the Tech Lead of the AI Imaging Group in the AI R&D business, you will be responsible for the following tasks, including project management and technical guidance to members under the management of the group leader.
・Technical lead for image-based AI projects, including project planning, specification, design, implementation, review, and evaluation using deep learning and machine learning, with expertise in image processing and computer vision (including client facing)
・Identification of tasks, scheduling, work instructions to engineers, confirmation of results, etc., and promotion of substantive project work (including subcontract management) while reporting progress to the group leader.
・The team will provide technical guidance to the team and provide feedback to the AI engine
・Technical guidance within the team
・Technical research through international conferences, papers, etc.

Position
・You will join the development team of an image-based AI project in the R&D department and be in charge of development as a member of the team.
・There is a mentoring program at regular meetings led by university professors, where students can consult on their assigned projects and discuss their dissertations.
・As a venture company originating from Hokkaido University, we can make use of academia and cutting-edge knowledge.
・Expertise in image processing and computer vision
・Advanced knowledge of AI technologies such as deep learning, machine learning, optimization algorithms, etc., and experience with these technologies
・Implementation experience in Python, R, C++, etc. (at least 5 years in one of these languages)
・Project Management (QCD Management)
・Experience in project planning, specification, design, and tech lead using deep learning and machine learning
・Master's, PhD, or equivalent knowledge and experience in informatics and neighboring fields.
・In-depth knowledge of AI and academic insights
・A person who can not only solve existing problems but also set new goals and make proposals.
・Ph.D. level researcher who can properly explain the project to users as the core of the project.
・Machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Chainer
・Python, R, C++, etc.
