Business Overview Rakuten Wallet Inc. is a crypto asset (virtual currency) exchange company of Rakuten Group, and started providing crypto asset spot trading service in August 2019, and in December of the same year, started a service that allows you to exchange crypto assets from "Rakuten Points". In March 2020, we started a margin trading service. You can also invest by exchanging "Rakuten points" accumulated using Rakuten services for crypto assets. It is a popular service because even people who are reluctant to invest in cash can easily start trading crypto assets. Furthermore, you can easily charge the electronic money "Rakuten Cash" with the crypto assets (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash) of physical transactions operated by "Rakuten Wallet" and "Rakuten Pay (app payment)" in the city. And "Rakuten Point Card" member stores can now be used. Department Overview The System Department properly and efficiently promotes the planning, development, and enrollment of our system, and carries out the system operation and maintenance work necessary to maintain the safety, reliability, and integrity of our system. Why We Hire To drive the business growth of the Rakuten wallet, I will lead the project as the project manager for new developments, overseeing the wallet's account management system. I will leverage my in-depth expertise in large-scale development and actively participate in software development as a team leader. In the future, I will also take on the role of overseeing members of development hubs in Japan, Ireland, Vietnam, China, and India. This position is expected to play a crucial role in the wallet's business growth and is positioned directly under the executives. By utilizing engineering expertise and leadership abilities, I will collaborate with cross-border teams and work towards developing an innovative account management system. Position Details ・As a Technical Lead engaged in software development projects and/or system improvements, I am involved in the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) of the product. ・I provide architecture-level and code-level feedback to engineers and offer technical guidance. ・I collaborate with engineers, product managers, scrum masters, and business members to develop the expected functionalities. ・I build trust in delivering projects rapidly through automated testing, continuous integration, monitoring, and analysis. ・I take the lead in making technical decisions, driving technical initiatives, and overseeing system operations. Work Environment It consists of 5 employees of our company and 10 outsourcing members. In order to carry out the system department mission, we are collaborating with domestic and overseas vendors (about 100 people).
