Job Description
Business Overview Rakuten has provided several entertainment services, such as Rakuten Books, Rakuten Ticket, Rakuten Music, Rakuten TV, etc. Entertainment Service Development Department(ESDD) is the development team which in charge of those services. Department Overview Entertainment Service Development Department(ESDD) is in charge of Entertainment Services Development in Rakuten, which is managing the following services now. Rakuten Books Rakuten Kobo Rakuten Magazine Rakuten Music Rakuten Ticket Rakuten Collection Rakuten NFT Position: Why We Hire For keeping services’ growing, we need some senior level members to help us leading the development and introducing new architecture or technologies. Position Details :Discover problems, propose solutions, and make improvements to contribute to the entertainment contents business. :Develop high quality applications (Requirements, Design, Development, Tests, Review, and Release). :Do operations and improvements on the service after release. Your responsibilities may include: :Launching new services/functions. :Analyzing/developing features which are required in new/existing entertainment contents services. :Developing libraries to increase development efficiency in entertainment contents services. Work Environment You will work with Media Entertainment Service Section members who have service-oriented mind and flexible mind for the better.
Required skills & Experience
Basic qualifications
- More than 5 years of experience and basic knowledge of web application development. - More than 5 years of experience and basic knowledge of Linux/Unix.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in developing applications using WEB-APIs. - More than 5 years of experience and basic knowledge of RDB. - More than 5 years of experience in Web application development for consumers. - Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. - More than 1 year of experience and basic knowledge of Git. - More than 3 years of development experience of using IDE. - More than 1 year of experience and basic knowledge of KVS. - Basic knowledge of Web system security. - Experience with Agile methodology. - Experience in designing/introducing of Middleware. - Experience in development with frameworks such as Spring. - Experience in design/development of B2C application (especially experience in developing an EC site).
