The Quality and Standardization Promotion Department develops creates quality standards and sets strategies ensuring service quality throughout the entire Rakuten Ecosystem. We drive numerous initiatives in the fields of Incident Recurrence Prevention, Deployment standardization and other quality enhancement activities.

Position Details
- Evaluate architecture and resiliency decisions, tackling problems that span a variety of domains.
- Work with other engineering teams to establish standards for high quality software delivery.
- Bridging between key stakeholders in the organization, understanding the language and requirements of each side.
- High proficiency in English
- Experience with Service level creation, documentation, and expand
- Experience with creating Company-wide Rules and Regulations, Individual Companies' Rules, Administrative Policies
- 4+ years’ experience building, deploying and operating complex distributed system software
- Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks
- Basic understanding of computer network foundations
- Experience with Functional Programming (FP) and Quality benefits that can be achieved by FP techniques
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent experience
- High proficiency in Japanese
