Department Overview
GATD (Global Ad Technology Division) is in charge of system development and operation for Rakuten's overall advertising-related business. It is a multinational division that spans five countries, Japan, Singapore, India, China, and the United Kingdom, and uses a huge amount of accumulated data to provide wide-ranging support across each division within the company.

Position Details
This position requires a person who has the ability to solve various business problems, as well as fulfilling their responsibilities as a product/project manager in product development and each project with a sense of ownership. You are responsible for the product life cycle to realize customer satisfaction and business growth. You are required to be proficient in at least one or more project management methods, yet not content with it and taking on challenges in inexperienced fields. In addition, strong communication skills are required that can build good relationships with stakeholders.
This position's daily work includes stakeholder management, product analysis/requirement definition, business and system KPI analysis/reporting, product roadmap creation, and development project planning/planning/management.

- Ability to work with stakeholders to identify business problems, formulate hypotheses to solve problems, and develop roadmaps to test hypotheses
- 3+ years product/project management experience
- 3+ years of experience in defining web or native application requirements and building system specifications
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum
- Requirement definition, external design and technical document creation experience
- Knowledge of advertising and digital marketing fields
- Experience in the marketing research field
- Experience in managing a development team in Agile/Scrum
- Organizational management experience in engineering or service operations field
- Skills and experience to develop quality assurance plans and procedures
- Work experience in web application development, native application development, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, web design
- Business level English and Japanese proficiency
