Department Overview
In Rakuten FinTech Group, we have a variety of FinTech services such as Bank, Credit card, Securities, Insurance, Rakuten Pay. FinTech services are extremely important to maintain our over 70 services called “Rakuten Eco-System”.
As a project manager/leader for FinTech group company, you will;
- Manage system development project, project planning, system requirements definition, estimate, project management, and release.
- Need to understand the priorities of business requirements, achieve and deliver high quality services on a limited schedule.
- Need smooth negotiation and adjustment with internal and external stakeholders.
- Need to have good reporting to decision makers.
- Need to bring/share know-how from FinTech group companies to promote synergy.
- Support autonomous of organization, enhancement of functionality, process improvement, and business improvement.
- Experience engaging in the overall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of open systems (10 years or more)
- Management experience of development projects, or similar experience (5 years or more)
- Excellent negotiation / communication skills with stakeholders
- Excellent logical thinking ability, flexibility and multitasking capability
- Strong commitment for your mission and assignment
- Strong leadership and initiative
- Team leading experience (more than 5 people / including sub-leader experience)
- Management experience with engineers to create services
- Application/software implementation experience (3 years or more)
- System planning, and/or proposal experience
- Project management office (PMO) experience
- Process improvement and/or operation improvement
- Knowledge and/or experience about management framework such as PMBOK, ITIL, and CMMI
- Curiosity for new services and technologies and a challenging spirit
